Hello everyone-
I offered to create a blog for my mom to let people know what's going on. While she would love to communicate with everyone personally, it's just not feasible right now. The important thing is for her to use all of her energy to heal--quickly, we hope! On Sunday, March 30 she fell into a door in the garage and broke both of her arms. Yes, both. Her left arm is worse than the right. Right now we're hoping she will not need surgery on the left arm, but she is going to the doctor today to find out. Unfortunately, she will have casts on both arms for sure. She has splints right now until the swelling goes down. That might take anywhere from a few days to a week. From what I have heard, there are many people helping out right now, and even though it's hard for my mom not to be able to do anything for herself, she really appreciates everyone's caring service. My mom's aunt from Salt Lake is going to Twin Falls Tuesday to help out for a while-and we'll go from there once we know a little more about how things are going. We'll pray for the best!
I will be updating whenever there is any new information-and I just wanted to thank everyone who is helping right now--I know my mom has many wonderful friends and I'm grateful that they can be there.
