Update

So, things have been going along alright.  My mom's ward and other friends have been helping out by bringing meals, giving her rides, helping her around the house, and lots of other things.  She is very appreciative of everyones thoughtfulness.  She says her incisions look pretty good, although the one on her right arm got a little infected a few days ago so now she is on antibiotics which should take care of that.  She has been going to physical therapy, but she has not done anything strenuous yet.  They are just mainly moving her hands around to make sure things don't get stiff and to encourage flexibility.  She will probably not be actively doing therapy with her arms until her bones are healed.  That should be by the end of the month if things go well.  Then she will be able to do more.  She will go back to the surgeon this week so he can check the progress, so we'll hope he has good news!
